2006 Got my first Kart. A Honda Cadet at Christmas, which my dad worked hard to make look like new. Really enjoyed driving on a proper tarmac track, practiced but never got to race.

2008 When January came round we started practicing straight away. I was going to start this year with full yellow plates as I was no longer a novice and could start at the front of the grid. I remember the first time it was terrifying, but I soon started doing well and having trophy finishes of 2nd 3rd and 4th places in the finals. I even started winning heats at some race meetings
